He kissed her again, and yet again, kissed her until she thought her bones would melt from the heat of his lips. And then, abruptly, he released her and sat up.

Jesse glared up at Dancer as he sat back on his heels, angry with him because he had stopped, and even more angry with herself because she hadn't wanted him to.
